What can I say? this is the fifth Sony VAIO Laptop that I buy and can\'t get enough of them, they\'re fast and reliable if you take good care of them, this one is the first 64 bit that I buy and so far is very stable, even if you had to force a shutdown you can still recover your last session. I definitely recommend it.

Sony VAIO VGN-CS215J/P 14.1-Inch Laptop Pink
I spent MONTHS researching HP, Dell, Macs, etc. trying to find the perfect laptop. I am heading to college in the fall and really need something easy to use, but also advanced enough that it has all the features I will be needing. I heard negative comments for each of those brands, ranging from horrifically loud fan to a glare that prevents outdoor use to way to pricey for the product, respectively. Consequently, I had NO idea what to do. Then someone suggested looking into Sony and THANK GOD I DID!!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS LAPTOP!! It\'s a perfect size, red is the perfect color (I had my doubts about it being too red, but it really is gorgeous), it works fantastically, the keyboard flows so well, it\'s fast, it\'s efficient, it was relatively cheap compared to others...it\'s perfect!!! Overall I would suggest this product to anyone!!!

I purchased this as a birthday present for one of my sons, the whole set-up process and to get online took about 15 minutes right out the box. SUPER FAST and so easy to do. Do not hesitate on this one, just buy it. Item arrived on time and packaging was great. Great deal for the money. My son was on for 3 hrs and did not feel hot. I know he will enjoy this for along time and extremely happy with this purchase.

After replacing my 8 year old Dell Laptop, I looked into this Vaio upon the recommendation of a few friends. I\'m not a tech-guy by any stretch, just wanted a solid everyday home laptop with good memory for interent, Itunes, Quickbooks, Skype and some word processing (no gaming) and this laptop absolutely fit the bill! Solid construction, unique and appealing design (case texture is great, shows no fingerprints), comfortable, wide and spacious keyboard, lightning fast-start up and downloads, user-freindly, gorgeous Hi-Def screen, great for watching videos and DVD\'s, fast CD and DVD burner and an awesome camera for Skyping with friends and family. For the price (just a shy over $600) and complete with Windows 7, you can\'t beat it! Battery life is fine too. Unlike some complaints, mine gets just under 3 hours which suits my needs and also charges very fast. I\'ve had freinds that have owned Vaio\'s years with little to no problems, and now glad to own one myself. If you\'re looking for a rock solid laptop with style and function, get this one. I\'m happy I made this purchase, would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone

I LOVE this laptop. I have both worked on and owned several brands and types of laptops. This is by far the best one yet. I know this sounds silly but after owning (and constantly cleaning) stainless steel appliances the thing that caught my attention on this laptop was the \'non-fingerprint\' finish and the keyboard touch. I have owned the laptop for about a month now without any issues whatsoever. I have owned more expensive (and heavier) laptops in the past. For the price and size this baby delivers.

Having looked at several dozen models before settling on this Sony, this is one of the best looking notebooks available. Fit and finish are first rate. The palm rest includes a blended color scheme, matching the lid on the outer edge and gradually lightening as it approaches the keyboard. The keys are well labeled, with large, high-contrast letters and numbers.
All of this would be a problem if it is missing features, and performance. First, the big screen. Text is sharp and the colors are very lively to say the least. It\'s much clearer! Videos look great, too. He did not stutter, at or when playing DVD, for example. Second, the keyboard is very good. And \"quiet. Keys are very smooth and well-being. Keyboard Zero Flex. Thirdly, it still runs. Ventilator creates a soft voice is easy to forget and never annoying. Wrists are angry, even though many hours of writing. It will remain cold, so to the machine back.
I like the Sony speakers, keyboard and display. You can set the tone screen (in some laptop speakers or other vehicles in the background.) You are strong, but they are clear and work. All in all, I love this notebook. However, I do have a few nits to pick. It took me over 30 minutes to get my Bluetooth mouse to work. While the radio is on by default, it does not accept connections. I had to dig deep in the manual to figure it out. Way too much work to add a device! It also bluescreened the second day I had it, locking up while I was checking scores on espn. That does not inspire confidence! I updated two device drivers and the problem has not repeated.
I also would prefer that the WiFi and Bluetooth radios not be tied to the same switch. There are times when it is preferable to use the Bluetooth but not Wifi in order to conserve the battery. However, this can be done through software.

I bought an e-SATA express card to use with the card slot to stream my external hard drive, I run an audio interface off the firewire port, and an iLok. I\'m also going to purchase a firewire express card with a Texas Instrument chipset in it to see which transfer rate is better between the e-SATA card and the FW card (it \'should\' be the e-SATA, but I\'m still going to try it). I also plan on purchasing a wireless mouse, full size keyboard, and 22\" monitor, so basically this laptop will sit off to the side as I record, mix, and edit audio. This is everything I need at the moment, and is working out as an audio computer as good or better than I thought. I highly recommend it. Oh, and regarding the Vaio software - for the average user, most of it is actually pretty cool, I just like to run my machine as clean and lean as possible so that most of it\'s resources are available when it comes time to lay down audio tracks.\"
